The following classes are available for quilty friend groups and quilt shops.  Please get in touch with me for more information or class requests. I will do my best to work with you.  Pricing depends on the venue and travel needs.  I offer classes in the Mark Twain Lake Area of Missouri periodically, so check in often.

HST So Many Ways

Beginner

Learn to make precise half square triangles in 5 different ways.  We will use two fat quarters and make 50 HSTs, design blocks using them, and create our own table runners, pillow, or wall hangings.

Possibilities

Beginner

The possibilities for this quilt and this class are many.  There are multiple layout options for this beginner friendly block. As an absolute beginner you will learn to piece a quilt with this simple block design. Skills needed–ability to use your machine and sew a straight seam. Skills learned–reading a pattern, cutting, sewing a ¼ inch seam, pressing, and arranging blocks into a quilt top.  This is a great class for a group of individual sewists, a group of mother/daughter or friend/friend learners, or a group of learners who want to make a quilt together as a team.

Honey & Clover

Beginner

Honey & Clover is the perfect introduction to English Paper Piecing.  If you have seen this process and wanted to try it but haven’t been sure where to start, this is the class for you.  It combines traditional piecing with EPP to create a wall-hanging,table topper or pillow top.  You will learn the basics of EPP without the overwhelm of starting a new craft.

The Color of Quilts

Workshop

Are you ready to use up some of your leftovers to create a new look?  Need to reduce your collection of fabrics to make room for more?  Or, have you decided you need to add a fabric from your collection to complete a project?  These can be daunting for any quilter.  This workshop is designed to provide activities and start conversations about color, design scale, and texture.  You will be an active participant and leave feeling like you can successfully “shop your stash.”
